You will love your easy to use Click > Go installation. Installation It just doesn't matter if your little boy constantly travels in different cars, like when his relatives take your child out for a walk in his car, our Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix will adapt to any car! This baby seat can be connected to a car seat with a seat belt or ISOFIX anchor points. Our user manual guides you through the installation steps for a safe fit. For the ISOFIX installation you will need the right base. Connect the base with your car's ISOFIX connectors and leave it installed in the car. Every time you need to get in and out of the car, our CabrioFix car seat fits directly to the base with a simple "click". Visual indicators notify you when your Maxi-Cosi car seat is properly connected, and you are ready to "ir". CabrioFix can be installed with the EasyFix or FamilyFix base. Because we want to be there for you, we have gathered our safest travel tips together so you feel sure your little one is safe. Security In Maxi-Cosi we have taken over 50 million babies home from the hospital. External shock testing centers, such as the German ADAC car organization (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club), constantly test and approve our Maxi-Cosi car seats and bases for dynamic security and ease of use. When ADAC tested both our Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix and Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix, we received an average security score. Our safe and comfortable CabrioFix car seat has a side protection system, which reduces the risk of an injury by absorbing the force of a very hard side impact. In this way, your little one always has extra protection, just in case. But in addition to its safety, our CabrioFix is also highly qualified due to its ease of use, thanks to the easy use of the Click & Go system in combination with an ISOFIX base. In Maxi-Cosi, we recommend using the FamilyFix base, because it reduces the risk of an incorrect installation. Statistics show that most first-time parents correctly install our baby seat in combination with the ISOFIX base. Safe, comfortable baby carrier We want you to feel well with the options you are taking, so our Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix is designed to provide comfort, safety and comfort for both you and your baby. The seat has extra filling, including a comfortable head support, which gives your baby a better lie position. But apart from being comfortable for your baby, our CabrioFix is nice and light for you. Taking him back between his house and his car is suddenly much easier. Removable case Our CabrioFix is likely to become dirty after daily use. Your little boy can get sick one day. No matter what happens, the Maxi-Cosi seat deck can be easily removed and washed in the washing machine. Travel system Going to a quick stop at the grocery store, a short visit to see your baby's grandparents, or for a fresh ride out? Use our comfortable car seat in combination with a pushchair, attaching the CabrioFix to it. Combine our car seat with a Maxi-Cosi armchair to create the perfect match, and enjoy a full and practical travel system. You can take our Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix on the plane (TV certification) and on vacation. Maxi-Cosi Cabrio car chair-when taking the newborn support? I wonder if someone knew the recommended age / weight that you take the newborn support out. If not, when did you get it? I was wondering the same thing that my 5 weeks seems very deplomed in it and also his feet already on the edge. Revised instructions today and says 3-4 months. How old is your doctor and how do you find him? Oh, thank you missed it on instructions. DD's fifteen weeks so I'm not surprised that I feel like I'm sticking his head in the head stand Apart from I'm very happy with the seat. There is no problem with the feet and my dd is very long, but I remember that I was going through a scenario when I thought it seemed deplored in the seat but not for a long time... (growing too fast) Thank you too. I had no idea it was so early. DD is 4 1/2 months (63cm) and I thought it looked a little small... I did a few weeks ago (DS 14 weeks) while his feet were hanging at the end. I checked the instructions and said you can still use the head support I'd like to do, but it's all in one - does anyone know what they're talking about? Am I meant to separate them? I'd like to know the answer to that, too, Katy. I just checked the instructions again and says 4-5 months not 3-4 forgiveness - brain doesn't work very well yet. It says remove the seat filling block but you can still use the head support. So yes, I guess, separated. I'm so sorry for disinformation again. I just checked my car seat and saw the cover holder and the head are very connected so the instructions don't make sense. I would have talked to John Lewis, or the manufacturer. Or buy something called Cuddle Soft that has similar head supports in two sizes. Good luck, let us know if you find anything. By the way, did anyone else feel that your baby was very collapsed in their opening doors? I love the car seat, but I'm worried she's breathing sometimes. Prob only new paranoia mom, though... Since it's not just stupid, I could contact Maxi Cosi and see what they say. I'll let you knowNoviceKnitter - I felt that Ds was really down on him for centuries and to be honest we just tried to avoid taking him anywhere in the car unless necessary. A bit drastic and if you have to drive then it helps hours but we weren't very happy about how uncomfortable it looked and in fact it didn't tolerate being in it long before complaining loud! Now at 3 months it's okay, though we still use the head support. In my maxi cosi the head and the seat block were connected with velcro. I took the block when the DS was about 4 months, but I still use the headline at 6 months. I pulled it out very early as dd3 used to cry and I always turned my face to it, which seemed really uncomfortable. She was much happier without her. Balletmum, dd3 is 18 weeks and I think I pulled it out at least 10 weeks ago. I just put the car seat a little further away so your head wouldn't get to the side! They just looked at the DS Cabrio, it was new to him. The head support and the additional seat of the pad are all attached and I cannot remove the seat without head support, but DS is hanging at the bottom of the seat and is getting v unhappy on it, but I wouldn't be happy to have any head support right now. He's 12 weeks and 15 pounds. In addition to the seat pad, there is a separate seat adjuster that is accessed through the turning panel at the back of the seat (i.e., the small storage box). This makes the seat deeper for bigger babies... I forgot that it existed for quite a long time, I just thought I had an incredibly big baby who had gotten over her seat already! I can't see how I can adjust the seat to make it bigger for DS. Maybe I have to resonate on instructions...ladymac, I'm sorry if it's a stupid question, but how did you get Carseat to sleep more? If that were poss would help with my head's decline problems I think.(or I could of course call courage to face my instructional dyslexia and wander through the small impression again ... Thank you all, so happy to hear that it's not just me in trouble. I agree with Maveta since my dd was really unhappy in the seat until recently. I had no idea you could adjust the seat, so he'll investigate. I know I can't support my seat any longer as I have the isofix base. I looked at my seat and I can't see how I'd adjust the seat. He'll call Maxi-cosi and mail. While waiting for Maxi-cosi to pick up the phone has worked the solution for the hunting head. There is a piece of wedge-shaped foam that comes from the side of the body support. Then you can still use headhunters but have a lot more space. Hard to see at first, but it comes out as a pillow from an IYSWIM pillow case You can't make adjustments to the back unless you have completely lost a page on the instructions! Novice, you can't do it if you have isofix. I don't have that, so put it back beyond, it only works in the car. Ooh yeah, the seat pad's coming out of the side. Oooh... Thanks for this thread, the poor old ds2 is 5mths and is still having its head wrapped in the head support. It's not particularly big, but I'm sure you'll be very happy when I take it. new thread on this topic ← this thread this thread the screen This is page 1 of 5 (This thread has 107 messages.)
